What is Mine Now, Pay Later?

Post image

Mine Now, Pay Later (MNPL) is a new payment method that lets you get a bigger miner right away and pay for it in installments over a certain time period.  Instead of paying the full price upfront, you make a small first payment, and the rest is charged in equal monthly installments.

The best part is that your miner starts mining at full power immediately, and you pay for it over time.

Who Is MNPL For?

Any registered user can choose this payment method if it’s available in their region.

How Do MNPL Payments Work?

MNPL splits the miner’s price into a 25% upfront payment and equal monthly installments. Payments are charged automatically every 30 days.

The plan includes:

  • 0% installments fees
  • Fixed payments (charged every 30 days)
  • No interest or hidden charges

For example:

If your first payment is on June 10, the next ones will be charged every 30 days:

  • July 10
  • August 9
  • September 8

Your miner starts mining Bitcoin as soon as you make the first payment and will continue as long as installments are paid on time.

Where can I see my MNPL plan?

You can find all your active and past MNPL plans in the "Profile" → "Pay later" section:

There you can see:

  • Your remaining balance
  • All completed and upcoming payments
  • The next charge date
  • Your payment method
  • The option to pay the next installment or pay off the plan in full

Are there any restrictions until the miner is paid in full?

Yes. While the plan is active, some actions are temporarily unavailable.

You can’t:

  • Sell the miner
  • Mint the miner
  • Upgrade it (including subscription and reward reinvestment)

Once the plan is fully paid, these restrictions are removed: upgrades become available immediately, while minting and selling unlock after 90 days.

Can my miner be taken away?

Yes, but only if your MNPL payment is overdue for more than 27 days.

Before that:

  • You’ll receive reminders.
  • Mining pauses after 7 days of non-payment.
  • You can still restore the plan by paying the missed installment.

Once the payment is made, mining resumes immediately.

What does MNPL qualify for?

  • Raffle tickets: You receive a ticket for each successful installment payment.
  • Referral, bounty, and ambassador programs: MNPL purchases qualify the same way as regular miner purchases.
  • VIP program: All MNPL payments count toward your VIP progress from day one.
  • Bonus Miner task: A miner bought with MNPL method fully qualifies for the task.

How Do I Pay?

  1. Click the Create miner button
  1. Select your miner’s power (TH/s) and energy efficiency (W/TH)
  1. Choose the "Pay Later" option
  1. Review your payment plan and confirm the first installment
  1. Complete the initial payment (25% of the miner price)

When are payments charged?

Your first payment is 25% of the miner price. It’s charged on the day of the miner purchase.

The remaining 75% is split into equal payments. Each installment is charged every 30 days after the previous payment.

All upcoming dates are visible in your payment schedule at "Profile" → "Pay later" section:

Can I Pay Off The Plan In Advance?

Yes, you can do it in the Profile → Pay later section.
There are two ways you can pay off your miner in advance:

  • Pay the full remaining balance in one go with “Pay all now” button:
  • Pay the next installment in advance “Pay” button:

What happens if my card doesn’t have enough funds?

We’ll retry the payment several times. If it fails for 7 days, your miner will pause its work and stop earning BTC.

To avoid that, you’ll need to top up your card or update your payment method. Once the payment succeeds, mining resumes, and your schedule stays the same.

If the payment is overdue for more than 27 days, the miner will be confiscated and listed on the Marketplace. You’ll receive a refund of your paid installments minus earned rewards, payment provider fees, and installation fee.

See the full rules in the Terms of Use.

Can I change my payment card?

Yes, absolutely!

You can update your card anytime directly in the Profile → Pay later section:

Can I use promo codes or referral codes?

Promo codes are not available for MNPL payments.

In case of referral links, they work partially:

  • The referrer receives the bonus
  • Referral bonuses for buyers are not available at the moment

Full promo code and referral support will be added later.

Can I Pay With Crypto?

Not at the moment. Currently, MNPL payment method is available only fiat card. Crypto payments for MNPL are planned for a future update.
